The older I get, the more exhausting childcare sounds. Don’t get me wrong, I love my nieces and nephews and even my friends’ kids. They are all truly delightful. It’s just that work takes up so much of my life that fitting little ones (and especially biological little ones) into that mix 24/7 seems pretty impossible.
OK, I’ll admit it. I kind of like weddings. In most cases they are really happy occasions filled with love, dancing, and good food (three of my favorite things). Can’t beat that, right? I’m even happy to say that I’ve grown out of the bridesmaid age group so it’s even more enjoyable just being a guest.
I’m a big fan of personal growth. So, I decided to do a little research on the topic of why (apparently) my male friends think I’m intimidating. The topic came up recently more than once (where you all talking to each other?) and it seemed worth investigating. So, I sent the question: “Why am I intimidating?” to 5 male friends.
